1. Format • Each participant receives a stimulus word or situation based on a legal or ethical theme. • One minute is allotted in total for thinking, structuring and delivery. • There is no separate thinking time. • Speaking must begin as soon as the timer starts. 2. Delivery Standards • Responses must be relevant, well structured and logically reasoned. • Responses should reflect appropriate legal or ethical reasoning. • Exceeding the one-minute limit results in automatic stoppage and disqualification from scoring for that round. • No external aids, notes or prompts are permitted.
