Robo Soccer

1. Match Format • Each soccer team may have a minimum of 3 and a maximum of 8 members. • One robot may serve as the goalkeeper. • The number of robots in a match may vary depending on the number of participating teams. • Each team must field at least 3 and at most 5 robots. • Matches will be played in a designated arena according to the setup and rules announced by the organising committee. 2. Robot Safety Specifications • Robots must be sealed, non-explosive and electrically powered. • Battery, NiCad or dry cell may be used. • Voltage anywhere in the robot must not exceed 24V DC at any point during the match. • Robots must not emit infrared light. • Infrared-distance optical sensors may be used provided they do not affect other robots. • Infrared-reflecting materials must not be used externally. • Painted robots must have a matte finish. • A team claiming interference from an opposing robot must provide proof, which must be confirmed by a referee. 3. Fair Play & Evaluation • Teams must follow all safety rules, game etiquette and match discipline. • Any robot violating safety norms or causing deliberate disruption may be penalised or disqualified by the judges. • The team with the highest number of goals at the end of the match will be declared the winner.
